What Am I Looking For?
This beta playtesting site is to showcase the features for Folds — keep in mind this is not the real app. Features, icons, systems, logic and more are subject to change. Puzzles were randomly generated and are not the main assessor of this playtest.
The main assessor, in other words, your job, is to click through the mock application and provide your thoughts on what you would:
- like to see
- like to improve
- like to remove
in this mock application. Notes such as:
- if there was confusion
- if there was a main hook that interested you
- and anything more
are available for you to use via the notepad on the bottom right.
Testing
Sign in on the registration screen on the top right to access your notepad. This is because you need to register to receive a Tester ID, the way you get perks in game, submit your feedback, and more. Once you've collected your feedback, download the .txt file and upload it to the Discord server's #beta-feedback channel. This channel is strictly for uploads; other users cannot see your Tester ID or your file. If there are any issues regarding the process, let this be known in #feedback or anywhere JayDev can see it.
Registering
Your credentials and login details are safely secured in the Folds database and serve as your Folds account, the same one you'll log in with in the app and in beta testing. Any safety or security concerns, email support@jaydev.games.
Quick Start
- Sign in (top right) to unlock your notepad and Tester ID
- Tap through the phone: Puzzles, Leaderboard, Settings, Profile
- Jot notes as you go, then Copy or Download when you're done
Out of Scope
You don't need to report on puzzle difficulty or content; they're placeholder/random for this build. Feedback on flow, clarity, and what's missing or confusing is what's most useful right now.
